Maureen Ross: "Here is what it looked like today. Thank you Terry (Yates, VDOT) for sending Richard Supinger to check it out."
Maureen Ross: "To the left on the median are the cheery trees planted in 1999. To the right the tree saplings there have been replaced twice since 1999. This is an example of how tall the cherry trees are that were planted in 1999, and if our lee hwy trees weren’t always dying, we’d have AT LEAST that height."
Lee Centre lost trees.
Needs help badly. And maybe a trash can. A truly ugly walk along Lee with trash in the tree aisles. Weeds. Dirt.
Same utility impediment and behind it overgrowth of bushes reported to code weeks ago and no action taken.
Tree aisles and area in need of weeding Lee by Lincoln north side.
Maureen Ross: "Took this photo this morning. The more i look the more i think the easy solution is a six inch wide diagonal trench in sidewalk with a metal grate cover, so water runs across and into street. I confirmed with mr wilson who uses the stop daily that he and others really need some help at this stop. Recall it has been in both lee hwy tours 2012 and 2011 and we discussed it Shannon at the 4/5/13 meeting."
Maureen Ross: "Can anything be done? Metro corridor doesn't look this way."
These trees in Falls Church were planted in 1999 and are now much larger than those planted on Lee Hwy the same year.
Trip hazard same as last year, lee hwy north side between kenmore and i 66.
Weeds alongside the Virginian Inn on Lee.
Same area on Lee Hwy, hotel's side and county. Damaged tree - will it survive?
Maureen Ross: "I almost sprained my ankle on this spot, just tripped instead."
