Missing Links Sidewalks Report 2012
Arlington County has a program for completing missing pieces of sidewalk, to improve walkability and safety. Here is an evaluation of potential sites in Cherrydale.
This team of Bill Novak, Erik Meyers and Ron Kampeas were commissioned by President Maureen Ross to survey every sidewalk in Cherrydale. They present this report noting missing links and in a separate report on utilities, obstructing sidewalks. It turns out that the oldest streets have the greatest obstructions.
This makes a NC project in itself.
