Cherrydale Station
These three photos show the Cherrydale railway station, which stood on Lee Highway just east of the intersection with Military Road. The station was just a small wooden structure, and served our community from the time it was constructed about 1908, until the rail line went bankrupt in 1935. A young female vandal burned down the building in 1937
