About the Cherrydale Citizens Association (CCA)
The Cherrydale Citizens Association is a not-for-profit civic organization that represents the interest of our neighborhood.
The Association is the only organization working exclusively on behalf of you and all Cherrydale residents. We are your friends and neighbors, striving to make our streets safer for our children and other pedestrians, enhance our parks and preserve our environment, maintain property values, represent local interests and build a stronger sense of community. We hold six General Meetings a year, host a Listserv and organize community-building activities. The Cherrydale Citizens Association meets on the third Wednesday of odd-numbered months at 7:30PM at the Cherrydale Volunteer Fire Department. The CVFD firehouse is located at 3900 Lee Highway at the intersection with Pollard Street. Meetings are held in the second floor dancehall. Enter through the double doors on Pollard Street and proceed up the stairs. Meetings are friendly, informal, and we usually try to have a guest speaker at the conclusion of the business portion of the meeting. Membership in the CCA entitles voting rights with respect to the election of CCA officers and official positions of the CCA. Please visit the JOIN tab to learn how to join the CCA. |
